Teen Night

Teens will participate in a digital filmmaking workshop learning
filmmaking skills to document scheduled workshops in Creating Digital
Music, Movie Stunts and Make-Up/SFX.

--- Music Workshop w/Karaoke & Music Recording Studios, Creating Afro-Latino Music

--- Movie Stunts: Learn how to do stunts the safe way!

--- Make-Up & SFX: Stitches/Cuts/Glamour - Create your own look

--- Food / Questons / Networking

Teens will receive:

1. Filmmaking Workshops (as mentioned above)

2. All Access Pass - Lanyards

3. Raffle Giveaway - Free to all who attend

4. Valentine's Day Photo - Free

5. Food

Participation Fee:  $10
Outreach:  30 – 40 Youth
Staffing: Freshi Staff   and two Teen Center Volunteers.


 

Santa Barbara African Heritage Film Series will work in partnership with the Santa Barbara Parks & Recreation to offer additional programs in digital filmmaking for youth at the Teen Center such as; film camps, advanced film production, screenwriting, game design, and film editing thoroughout the calendar year. Teens will also be encouraged to submit their project for contest and sweepstakes entry.
